I recently returned from a trip to Ireland and this nice little book was waiting for me in the post. It was sent by Swiss book publisher Diogenes Verlag, who kindly featured my ‘Snow Tango’ painting on the cover of their special Christmas 2025 gift edition. Here’s a photo of the new book below with my original painting.
The book is titled ‘Zur Feier des Tages’ which translates as ‘To Celebrate the Day’, and it’s a beautiful 220-page collection of short stories in german about ‘lavish fests and unforgettable parties’.

I don’t speak much german myself, but perhaps some of my german-speaking friends might be interested in ordering a copy.
This german-language book is being released in Zurich but I’m sure it may be available in all german-speaking countries.
